Electrical Control Engineer

Russell Tobin is looking for a motivated automation engineer with a solid background in electrical engineering, focusing on process control and automation design to join a global manufacturer in the Angola/Farnham area! The ideal candidate will be hands-on and have a proven track record in engineering development, technical management, and project coordination, along with excellent troubleshooting abilities.
This is a direct hire/permanent role with a salary in the $105k-$125k range.
Key
Responsibilities:
Designing and developing process control and automation systems, with a focus on Allen Bradley PLCs, HMI's, Variable Frequency Drives, and related interfaces in an industrial food processing setting.
Troubleshooting automated machine systems, components, and electrical devices using test equipment.
Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and PLC ladder logic.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering roles within a manufacturing environment.
Strong technical background with hands-on experience in troubleshooting electronic control systems.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience in the food processing industry.
Familiarity with relevant safety standards and codes.
Project management experience is advantageous.
